No Missing Pieces: Discovering Wholeness in Singleness

Tuesday evenings from June 10 - August 5, 2025
Life can be hard for single people in the midst of a culture that highlights romantic relationships/marriage. We will talk about pressure you may feel, how to deal with community and loneliness, and how to value all of who you are in your unmarried self. After talking through messages we may have heard and internalized, we'll consider where those came from and replace them with the true messages from God, which will help shape our lives moving forward.

Release & Redemption: Freedom and hope for women who have experienced abortion

Wednesdays at 6:30pm-8pm from June 4 - July 30, 2025
This group is for women who have experienced abortion. We will be going through a Bible study by Linda Cochran focused on this topic.
No matter what influences a woman to end a pregnancy, the physical, psychological, and spiritual side effects are real and not always anticipated. Feelings of guilt, shame, and grief become a heavy burden, and many women feel that they will never be free, that no one understands, that God will never forgive them. But there is hope.

Men’s Forgiven and Free: Overcoming Addictive Sexual Behaviors

Please fill out the support interest form below indicating wanting to get connected with Forgiven & Free, and we'll follow up with you about the next group start date!

Oaks Group FAQs:

Are groups similar to classes?

The structure of these groups is peer support and experiential processing rather than informational, knowledge-based learning. While the group will go through resources together, the goal of the group is not to teach and inform, but to develop encouraging and supportive relationships with God and others and equip the group with resources.

Do groups have start and end dates, or are they ongoing?

Although some groups are ongoing, most groups run in sessions with a start and end date for about a 3 month session. This structure builds trust, preserves confidentiality, and creates camaraderie for the process of healing. We encourage supportive relationships between group members to continue naturally beyond the duration of the group session.

Do I have to be a Christian in order to join a group?

We believe that we are whole human beings, and so healing is physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual. As a result, Oaks groups will incorporate healing practices of Christian spirituality, but groups are open to anyone, regardless of your spiritual or religious background.

What if I’m looking for support, but I’m not sure if I’m ready to join a group?

In addition to groups, Oaks also facilitates one-on-one connections with volunteers called advocates. Like group facilitators, they are trained volunteers and are usually a few steps ahead in their own healing process. They offer support as you engage your healing with God and others. Find more information about intake and advocates under our page here.
